I took the 'what Disneyland attraction are you' quiz but the code was not working out for me. I was 'Its a small world'...when you live in R.I. and hang out in lesbian circles the world seems even smaller. You really can't meet anyone here without knowing 1/2 a dozen people that they know. Amber and I went to MD to visit on of my friends shortly after we started dating and I ran into one of my old R.A.s from RIC. He came over and gave me a hug and we were chatting. Amber came back from getting something in the car and I started to say 'One of my....' but got cut off as she walked right passed me and hugged him, apparently they go way back. I could go on and on, I have a bunch of stories like that. I was known by my friends in H.S. as the girl who could not go anywhere without seeing someone she knew...and no that is not to say I was extremely popular, I think it is because I was involved in so many different things that I just knew so many people. When I was in France, my friend Ben and I were walking down the street and this girl stopped us and asked us if Ben had a brother named Eric. It turns out she went to Cornell with him. We ended up going to dinner later, I asked her if she knew someone I was friends with in high school (the one person I know who went to Cornell) and it turns out that they dated for a bit. Ok, enough story telling I need to go to work!

i love those. that's something i miss about ri. it does still happen in new york, and i suppose when it does it's that much more shocking, but it's pretty rare, and almost always industry-related, so not very random.

didn't we have something like that? with anna fenwick? you went to camp with her when you were kids, yea? and i'd known her since i was 2.

Why yes we do! I am kind of a dork...even though I know other places are not as small, I can't help it when I meet someone from TX/Seattle/others if they know the friends that I have there. lol.
